GFJ (336-338) How long could you live without your cell phone?

Last night GDubbs brought up a good point, COULD YOU LIVE WITHOUT YOUR CELL PHONE FOR A YEAR? I don't even know if I can live without it for a day. If I walked to the subway and realized I didn't have my Blackberry, there is a very good chance that I'd walk all the way home to pick it up and deal with the consequences of being late for work. I AM ADDICTED TO MY PHONE however there was a point in time where I lived without one.. Yes, I am that old that I remember life before cell phones...

The best part is I did just fine in College sans phone. Despite not having texts or bbm's, Tweet's,etc, I still knew what my friends were up to and where they were... Granted we were in a small College town and there wasn't that many options but, still.

So, tomorrow, I'm going to live sans cell phone. I'm turning that sh*t off and living my day... Let's see how long it takes me before I break down and turn and b*tch back on.

Thursday
BREAKFAST: Roasted Butternut Squash Quiche
LUNCH: Miso Soup and Brown Rice
DINNER: Sage Chicken, Butternut Squash Salad and Brussel Sprouts.

Thursday dinner at home...Sage chicken with Roasted Butternut Squash Arugula Salad with Goat Cheese and Roasted Brussel Sprouts.
Friday: After eating half a protein-bar and waiting five hours for the window peeps to fix our non-locking windows, I met Coco for a very late lunch at Caracas... As I was sitting there I felt like I'd swallowed about ten ritalin. I was BEYOND wired.. .So, how'ss a girl to remedy that sorta situation? She goes and has a drink at 5pm....Not the smartest of ideas when you have CH and AC's cocktail party on the Upper West Side at 8pm but no one ever said I made a lot of smart choices.

BREAKFAST: Half of a protein bar
LUNCH: Caracas (pictured below)
DINNER: Two deviled eggs and some fromage.
Caracas - Salad

Caracas - YoYo (Plantains y Queso)

Caracas - Arepa with Chicken and Avocado.
Saturday - After working out with Crys (who made me do a zillion and one different types of crunches) I had brunch with GI Joe at The Smith.. As it was nice out and I rarely see GI Joe, I thought it only appropriate to throw back three Bloody Mary's with my beastly brunch below...
The Smith - Chicken Sausage & Eggs with Spicy Corn Bread and Gravy.

The Smith - Candied Bacon.
GI Joe was all about this Candied Bacon. It was def delish however I was shocked that this is what they consider a "side". It was a def the smallest "side" I've ever seen.
I NEVER go to Brooklyn. Not that I have an issue with Crooklyn, I mean, M2 and AD live there, however I NEVER go.. So last night, when Shu-bird texted to come over to the other borough for dinner, I told LaLa she had to come with and we went.

Actually, that's a lie. First we met GDubbs for a drink at Peels and then we all headed over to GJW's for his homemade Vodka Sauce. It was beyond delicious and I truly believe that GJW should open a private restaurant at his house. His food is the knee's....

Saturday Night Dinner - Risotto Ball

Saturday- Homemade Vodka Sauce...

Arugula Salad with Fennel and Toasted Pinenuts.
