GFJ (335) Don't cry for me Argentina....The truth is, I'm happy being single.

Last night I was chatting with SJK about a mutual friend. When I mentioned that she was single he gave me this look of dismay and then said, "poor girl".... Is that what people say when they hear I'm single? If so, GO F*CK YOURSELF... Yes, I'd love to be married and have little kiddies running around, drooling all over me and controlling my life however that isn't in the cards for me RIGHT NOW..

I don't doubt they will be in the future but, as of 2.18pm on 11 November 2010, I'm  single and I AM OKAY WITH THIS.. Actually, I'm more than okay with this, I'm semi-proud.. I pay my own rent, maintain a job and le blog, have amazing friends and enviable family and I count all of those things as blessings. I know many married people who are les miz, sans friends, with kids they want to shank and husband's they can't stand. So, as far as I'm concerned, I'm one up on them cause I'm pretty freaking happy. Happy and Single vs. Married and Les Miz, which would you rather?


*it should be noted that after SJK said "poor girl" I slapped him hard on the arm and said, "eeeeew.... is that what you think about me?"... to which he laughed and said, "No, you are different."...
