I give Paul Sevigny and Nur Khan's, Kenmare a big ole "F". I had such high expectations since Paul Sevigny's, Beatrice Inn was such a success, but, this restaurant is BUSTED and a WASTE of a $100 (yes, cause our meal was $100 per head)...
Actually, that's a lie.. At one point, Coco, Juanita and I were like, "we should do another dinner here...." That was before the awful restaurant manager, Michael Montalto, came over and was BEYOND RUDE to our table... I have no time for rudeness.
Apparently a large party was coming and they needed to use our table to fulfill the reservation. It was 9:45pm and the restaurant was DEAD EMPTY. Had the manager asked us to move tables to finish our FULL glass of booze, then we would have been happy... Had he offerred to move us to the bar area with a complimentary round of drinks, we would have come back again... Alas, he did none of these things and was a complete douchelord....
No wonder Kenmare was dead empty on the final night of Fashion Week, the king of douches, Michael Montalto is managing the place. He even had the audacity to tell us that we weren't important because we weren't paying $100/head... Hey, d-bag, you might want to check our tab before you throw out tacky one-liners like that... Oh, and you might not want to be rude to someone who works for The James Beard Foundation, you f*cknut.
I mean, even The Waverly Inn, The Lion and Hotel Griffou have better management than Kenmare, and those restaurants can afford to be douchey as they are actually busy... You see, I don't mind paying $100 for a meal if the food is good, or the scene is phenom, or the service is to die for...
I give the food at Kenmare a C.. The appetizers were an F, the Entrees were a B and the Dessert was an A.

I give the service at Kenmare an F... Okay, we loved our waitress but since Michael Montalto sucked donkeyb*lls, they get an F.
NEVER GO TO KENMARE... Head to The Lion instead
