If you have a kid and live in the Tri-State area, you must bring them to Arthur Ashe Kids Day. It's FREE and the kids get to do mini-clinics and things such as face-painting.. Plus, parents can watch the Number 1 and 2 seeds, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal practice for the Open.. It is a great way to spend a gorgeous Summer Saturday.... Oh, and for a few bucks, you can even check out the "concert"... We saw The Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato and a bunch of other peeps who I don't know perform... I'm not going to lie, I liked one of the Jonas Brothers songs.. DO NOT JUDGE!
(Below: The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato... Okay, it was HOT on Saturday, why was gay middle Jonas wearing a sweater and long-sleeve shirt?)

Saturday: I started my Saturday morning with a wheat grass shot at Jamba Juice and a fatty smoothie. Since I was rexic for two days and wanted to be healthy at the Open I decided a fatty smoothie was okay...
As I was making my way to Grand Central I chatted with El EP and The Fighting Sausage. They were celebrating the Grande Semana in Bilbao and were headed to a bull fight (I've never see a bullfight but would really like to..). As soon as I got off the phone with them, I took a sip of my fatty Jamba Juice smoothie and the bottom fell out all over Park Avenue. I was dead sad slash grateful it didn't get all over me...
From there I took the subway to Flushing Meadows.. Is it so wrong that I don't want anyone being close to be on the subway because I fear that I'll get bed bugs that way. My bedbug obsessesion is getting to the point where I'm contemplating going on Xanax. I know my fears are illogical however I CANNOT HELP IT...
Once I got to Flushing Meadows I realized how creepy it was to be walking in without a child. I felt like the pervy guy who hangs out at the playground. It was wrong slash I was so excited when I found the fam along with friends C&S.
Now I have to say, C&S' parents did an amazing job. C had a sleepover with Baby N and I have NEVER met a more polite kid. It was amazing and genuine.. Why aren't all kids like this?
Apres the four hour dead hot "concert" we hit K-town in Flushing.. It was a little piece of heaven on Earth.
