GFJ (240) Buying a bed...

When, is the last time you bought a bed? Are you aware of how expensive they are? During my hunt for the perfect mattress, I came across beds that cost $17,000. Granted, lying on a bed that pricey felt like you were lying on a firm cloud.. but, still. That is pretty aggro. I settled on a mattress at Macy's that was on sale....and comfortable...

I should disclose that it took my crazels arse three visits to Macy's before I decided on a bed.. and then, when I left the store last night, I didn't even buy it. I wanted to make sure I couldn't find a better deal elsewhere.. at 11pm, an hour before the mattress sale ended, I called their 1.800 number and purchased my bed. I'm cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

Below: I love the vintage escalators at Macy's. They are only in the original part of the department store, upper levels. Aren't they just gorgeous?

After Macy's, I decided to walk down to GDubbs'.. and by "walk down", I mean stroll through Korea Town and see if there were any hot guys about. There were none.. and it smelled like pee. I did however see a hot Asian guy when I got to Washington Square Park... I was so agog by him that I nearly walked into the below statue. These "men" are all over the park and....

...even atop buildings. They scare me.
