When my sister suggested I read BILLIE STANDISH WAS HERE, I was on the fence about it. I really wanted to start, ONE DAY. Plus, I wasn't sure I'd be into a book about a Mid-Western farm girl whose parents neglect her... I was 100% wrong. I literally read the book in a matter of hours. IT WAS SO GOOD... Check it out.
